Sustainability

Today, sustainability is a vital consideration in the development of all new technology.

The packaging industry, as it is often considered as providing an accessory to content, is consistently held to account on this subject. This is particularly true for thermal packaging, and raises the question of the balance between its usage and the service the packaging provides, and its environmental impact.

The Coldpack Airliner is an innovative answer with an environmental impact that is 40% to 50% lower than that of polystyrene
- It is manufactured without solvents
- The manufacturing process consumes 38% less raw materials than that of alternative rigid solutions
- Its insulating power is provided by a natural element: air.
- It requires less energy to transport because it is light and compact.
- It can be reused. At the end of its life, it can be treated using the traditional waste management systems: incineration (light weight) or landfill (small volume)
- High-performance insulation results in an optimisation of energy consumption

A greater respect for the environment is essential for our well-being, and therefore essential for Coldpack.
